Community Art Auction
Artists, in the spirit of fundraising for a Children’s Sensory Play Installation at our new library expansion, we are accepting your art for our upcoming Community Art Auction. 

With the help of the public and our patrons, the Community Art Auction, hosted by the Friends of Taylor County Public Library, is a local artist gallery and library fundraiser. All proceeds from the Community Art Auction will fund a Children’s Sensory Play Installation in TCPL’s expansion. Here's how you can join in:

Details for Participating Artist (All Ages)
Monday, June 9 - Friday, June 25, 2025:

• Pick up an 8x8 canvas from TCPL’s front desk. The 8x8 canvases are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Create your artwork in any style or medium using TCPL’s 8x8 canvas.
• Friday, June 27, 2025 by 5 PM: Return completed artwork to TCPL to participate in the gallery and auction.

Community Art Gallery
June 30 - July 11, 2025 at Taylor County Public Library:

• View the Community Art Gallery during regular business hours.

Community Art Auction
July 11, 2025 | 5-7 PM at Taylor County Public Library:

• 5 - 7 PM:
  • Place anonymous bids, beginning at $10 a piece
  • Enjoy refreshments
• 7 PM:
  • Winning bids announced.
  • Both artists and bidders will remain anonymous until 7 PM.
