Move at Noon

Take a break from your workday and join us at the library for Move at Noon! This weekly lunchtime exercise program will help you recharge and have fun. Each Tuesday from 12:00 to 1 PM, we’ll use the library’s collection of classic exercise DVDs to explore a variety of fitness styles—from Zumba to yoga, Pilates, and more.  No registration is required—just bring your water bottle, wear comfortable clothes, and get ready to Move at Noon!

We also invite local exercise experts to join the fun! If you’re a fitness professional interested in leading a session, we’d love to hear from you. Please email natashanall@tcplibrary.org for more information.

New in April, join the Move at Noon challenge and move at home too! Pick up your challenge card at the first session in April, complete each daily task, and bring the card back for the last session of Move at Noon on April 29.

Tailored Tuesdays is a program designed just for men who want to learn more about self-care. Each Tuesday in April, Brent Loy—barber at Hair Designs and host of Community Showcase—will be at the library to share expert tips on looking and feeling your best. Veterans Outreach

Veterans Outreach meets the fourth Wednesday each month. Benefits Field Representative Kevin Kearns will help you file claims for veteran disability compensation, non-service connected pensions, survivor benefits, and educational benefits.

Wondering if you could qualify for disability benefits? A Veteran does not have to be completely physically disabled in order to receive disability benefits. If you know a Veteran that ever had to go to sick call while on active duty or had any injuries or medical issues while on active duty that still affect them today, they could be eligible to receive monthly compensation.
