Introducing Arts & Crafts Corner! This monthly program combines storytelling and creative crafting for kids of all ages. This program meets in the Community Room.

Event Details:

In April we’re making cloud dough with cornstarch and lotion—it’s soft, squishy, and oh-so-fun! Open to kids of all ages. Don’t miss this monthly dose of imagination and play! This program meets in the Community Room.

Kara Campbell from the Taylor County Extension Office and Children's Librarian Antonia Bottoms lead this monthly gardening program for kids at TCPL. 

Event Details:

Kaleidoscope Gardening branches into learning more about broccoli, Swiss chard, and squash for April! Plus, we'll plant these veggies in our raised beds just beside the parking lot during the program.

Upcycle Crafting

Upcycle Crafting is for kids and teens (10-17 years old). In this monthly series, we'll re-use everyday items like styrofoam, milk jugs, old eyeshadow pallets, and more to create cute crafts. We'll meet monthly with the help of Ladelthia Underwood, an amazing artist and crafter.

Whether you love baking or have no clue where to start, join us for a fun, hands-on baking class! Each session, we’ll tackle 1-2 recipes, learn how to assemble ingredients, and whip up some delicious treats.

Back by popular demand... PANCAKE ART! A previous Teen Treats event was such a hit, you asked for more — so we’re flipping up the fun once again. Join us on May 14th from 3:30-4:30 PM to create some incredible edible art.
