This weekly lunchtime exercise program will help you recharge and have fun. Each Tuesday from 12:00 to 1 PM, we’ll use the library’s collection of classic exercise DVDs to explore a variety of fitness styles—from Zumba to yoga, Pilates, and more. No registration is required—just bring your water bottle, wear comfortable clothes, and get ready to Move at Noon! We also invite local exercise experts to join the fun! Veterans Outreach 12:00pm - 2:00pm Adults This event is in the "Adults" group. Locations: Taylor County Public Library Age Group: Adults Program Type: Health & Wellness Veterans Outreach Veterans Outreach meets the fourth Wednesday each month. Benefits Field Representative Kevin Kearns will help you file claims for veteran disability compensation, non-service connected pensions, survivor benefits, and educational benefits. Wondering if you could qualify for disability benefits? A Veteran does not have to be completely physically disabled in order to receive disability benefits. If you know a Veteran that ever had to go to sick call while on active duty or had any injuries or medical issues while on active duty that still affect them today, they could be eligible to receive monthly compensation.

TCPL has 2 Nintendo Switches available for use, but teens can also bring their own. Board games and more will be available for playing! Locations: Taylor County Public Library Age Group: Kids Program Type: After School STEAM Skills Kids ages 8-12 are invited to get hands on with science at STEAM Skills! Join us monthly. No sign up required. This program meets in the Community Room. Event Details: This month, STEAM Skills is celebrating Star Wars! Join us on May 28th to design your own lightsaber, learn how light waves work, and then battle it out to see who will reign as the ultimate Jedi Master or Sith Lord. May the STEAM be with you! Teens ages 12-17, this is your last chance to battle it out, eat ALL the pizza, and celebrate all the things we love about our library before we take a summer break!
